Speaker: Larry Anderson, Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, FDA, Rockville, MD
Topic: Pre-PET Chemistry with Guidance from Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry
Place: Building 549, Executive Board Room, NCI-Frederick, Frederick, MD
Time: Tuesday, December 5, 2000, at 2:00 PM
Abstract: Pre-PET chemistry is the development of synthetic methods than can be used to incorporate positron emitters into radiopharmaceuticals with potential application to positron emission tomography (PET). Our laboratory is currently developing pre-PET methods to use PET in the drug development of antitumor agents, and the use of liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) has become an integral part of this effort.
