Abstract: Part 1 - Proteomics - Advances in ion trap technology make on-line sequencing at low femtomole levels routinely possible. Utilization of commercial ion trap mass spectrometers allows rapid automated identification of hundreds of proteins in an hour through integrated database searching and available de-novo sequencing software.
Part 2 - ADMETox - State-of-the-art ion source design in conjunction with the newest quadrupole technology give unprecedented sensitivity and sample throughput. Further increases in selectivity are achievable by implementing high resolution ion selection.
